Shea and I had our wedding ceremony at the Copacabana Hotel & Resort in the Mayan Rivieria in Mexico on March 5, 2003. Including ourselves, we had a group of twelve people attending - my parents Ray & Janet, Shea's parents Dennis & Joan, my aunts Gwen & Joan, Shea's brother Marsh and his friend Jeff (who did an outstanding job as our official videographer for the ceremony), Mom's cousin Carolyn who lives in Bacalar, Mexico (two hours south of where our wedding was held) and her friend Greg who is from Saskatoon but happened to be visiting Mexico at this time.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know that Shea and I got engaged last Sunday night
(July 28) at Fairmont Hot Springs in B.C. I guess good things do come in threes
- two months ago, we bought a condo together; two weeks ago, we bought a new car
and two days ago, we woke up together, engaged! (Of course, our loan manager can't
believe his good luck either! But that's a different story...)
Our current plan is to get married in Mexico or Cuba with as many of our friends and family (both sets of parents are in!) as can make it in February or March 2003. You can consider this your first, informal invitation - start saving your pennies! We will likely have a reception at Shea's farm next summer for all of you who can't join us on the beach. Of course, these details will probably change a million times between now and "I do" (yikes!) but stay tuned to our web page and the grapevine for all the latest details.
