Hey there,

Not to step on my dad’s on anyone else’s shoes, but I’ve always played Sharecroppin’
in F#m (no capo), pulling off the bass note on the F#m to achieve the very simple 
bass-line going back and forth between F# and E. When the change comes, just play 
an E like you always would. This way of playing it makes the sound a bit darker and 
rougher.
